Built for people who still believe music is discovered, not delivered.
Somewhere along the way, discovering music became a numbers game. Algorithms optimize for engagement. Endless playlists sound increasingly alike. The same artists, the same songs, recommended over and over until music becomes background noise.
We wanted something different.
Why we built SINK
SINK was born in Utrecht as a response to the way modern music is consumed.
Instead of another algorithm deciding what you should hear next, we celebrate people with exceptional taste. Independent radio stations, underground broadcasters, avant-garde collectives, record shops, and passionate curators have spent decades uncovering incredible music that rarely makes it into mainstream recommendation engines.
Our job is simple: find them, listen carefully, and bring them together in one place.
No endless feeds. No engagement metrics. No ‘Because you listened to…’
Just remarkable stations, selected by humans.
What we believe
Music discovery should feel surprising again.
We believe the best music often lives outside the charts, beyond viral playlists, and far away from algorithmic recommendations. Hidden internet radio stations, community broadcasters, experimental labels, and independent voices deserve to be heard.
SINK exists to make those discoveries effortless.
Our principles
- //Human curation over algorithms.
- //Privacy over profiling.
- //Radio over endless playlists.
- //Quality over quantity.
- //Independent voices over commercial noise.
What Makes SINK Different
No ads. No tracking. No recommendation engine.
Just great sound, carefully selected, and ready to play.
